what works for me is art. i give myself a time period in which to work on a piece. during that time nothing is allowed to stop the progress of that work, unless it is an emergency. after doing this over a period of time the process became useful in other projects.
Remove all distractions, such as extra objects in the room before getting started on the task try and get rid of all factors thta might worry you, try and do as many little tasks as possible before getting started onthe larger ones. Try working in 25 minute chunks with five minute breaks to avoid fatigue and therefore decrease your distractability.
Keeping the focusing ring constantly adjusted.
(That is not as flippant as it may sound!)
I think a serious shiatsu massage helps. I’m getting them and they really really help my nervous system. And the nervous system has everything to do with our focus.
Get plenty of quality sleep. Make sure you enter the REM phase of sleep because that’s where you brain gets the most rest.
Eat protein and the proper amounts of natural carbohydrates. Stay away from processed sugar!!!
Vitamin B and Ginko Biloba.
Breathing exercise is crucial. Learn to breath correctly as a means of staying calm.
